Case It! Conferencing

This site has been set up as an example of how to facilitate student interaction and collaboration as they analyze and discuss cases that are part of the Case It! project. Examples from classes at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls are provided below. This system is replacing the "Case It Launchpad" that was used for this purpose, which is no longer available. A page is set up for each student team, where they present their case analysis. Each page has an associated discussion (click on the "word balloon" icon in the upper right) where they ask and answer questions. Click here for more information about how we have used this system in classes. If you are interested in setting up your own class wiki and need assistance, email karen.k.klyczek@uwrf.edu.

To access example web posters and discussions, click on the link for one of the classes in the table below. The breast cancer case in the General Biology - Genetic disease class includes the student discussion with role playing. The other institutions listed here used the previous system with their students, in some cases collaborating with UWRF for the case analysis and discussion.
